During Treatment
Before your facial rejuvenation procedure, your cosmetic doctor may use topical or injectable anesthesia to numb the treatment area. However, new JUVÉDERM® XC (extra comfort) contains lidocaine, a localized pain reliever that makes a separate anesthetic unnecessary.
Your cosmetic doctor will inject JUVÉDERM® under your skin with a fine needle to restore volume and smooth away fine lines, wrinkles and folds. Following injection, the treated areas may be gently massaged. The anti-aging facial filler procedure is quick and easy, generally taking only 15-60 minutes (depending on areas treated).
